- Manage production planning team and daily operations
- Develop and maintain production schedules and material plans
- Coordinate with manufacturing, quality, engineering, and purchasing
- Track progress, report metrics, and resolve scheduling conflicts
- Implement planning procedures and process improvements
- Manage engineering changes and schedule impacts
- Utilize ERP/MRP systems and planning software
✅ Ideal Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 5 years in production planning or manufacturing leadership in shipbuilding
- Strong ERP and Excel skills
- Ability to read technical and production drawings
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Preferred: AutoCAD, CostPoint/Floor2Plan, PMP certification
