🎯 Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed estimates for structural steel projects
- Perform quantity takeoffs for material, labor, equipment, and subcontracted work
- Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations
- Communicate with contractors and project stakeholders throughout the bidding process
- Maintain bid schedules and support proposal development
- Track submitted bids and assist with post-bid follow-up activities
✅ Ideal Candidate Profile
- Minimum 5 years of estimating experience within structural steel fabrication and/or erection
- Strong ability to interpret structural and architectural drawings
- Experience preparing material and labor takeoffs
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and industry-standard takeoff software
- Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines simultaneously
