Screen Print Press Operator

NovaVision, LLC is a growing technology company specializing in anti-tampering, anti-counterfeiting and durable label products. We provide value by working with our clients to provide useful and cost-effective products used in the manufacturing, marketing or brand protection of their products. We are seeking a Screen Print Press Operator for our (durable labels) facility in Atlanta, Georgia. This candidate will be responsible to setup and operate semi to fully-automatic flatbed screen printing presses. NovaVision is headquartered in Bowling Green, OH with locations in Georgia, North Carolina and Wisconsin.

Job Type: Hourly

Responsibilities

Sets up and runs custom jobs per job assignment, job orders, company guidelines and or direction from the team. Verify specifications, quantity, color, substrates. Obtain materials necessary to print jobs including substrate, inks, screens and other supplies. Checks for quality to established ISO procedures, reviewing setup, registration, ink density, viscosity. Troubleshoots and solves printing problems, may perform light maintenance on the equipment. Works effectively while following all safety guidelines and maintains an efficient well-kept work area.

Requirements

• High School Degree or GED
• Preferred - Minimum 2 years experience with flatbed screen printing equipment
• Other experience with flex web, rotary, gravure, finishing a plus.
• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting ability with math and reasoning.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
• Ability to work on a team or independently.
• Solid work ethic, positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to regularly lift/move 25 pounds, and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
• Good vision, ability to see/match color to standards.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
• US Citizenship

• Wage $17 entry level
• Higher wages for commensurate experienced printers.
• This will be a 2nd shift role - 2nd shift will include a $2/hour shift premium once the candidate is on that shift.
