Responsibilities
- Deliver food orders from the kitchen to guests’ tables efficiently and accurately, ensuring presentation standards are met.
- Assist with setting up dining areas, including clearing tables and resetting for new guests to maintain a clean and inviting environment.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate timely food delivery and handle special requests or modifications.
- Support servers by bussing tables, refilling beverages, and providing prompt guest service when needed.
- Uphold food safety standards by handling dishes carefully and maintaining cleanliness in all service areas.
- Use POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to assist with order accuracy and guest billing when required.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations during busy periods and special events like banquets.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key.
- Knowledge of food handling procedures, safety standards, and basic food preparation techniques.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Experience in banquet service, bussing, or kitchen support roles enhances your candidacy.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, move quickly between tables, and lift moderate loads comfortably.
