Novato Unified School District (NUSD) has approximately 800 staff members who, along with the larger school community, are responsible for the education of 7,100 students. NUSD is looking for a School Speech Language Pathologist to support the Special Education Department's Summer 2026 Extended School Year Program (ESY). The program will be hosted at San Ramon Elementary School and the length of the program is 06/15/2026-7/10/2026. This is an hourly position. The ideal applicant would come to us with an intern, preliminary or clear California Credential. Novato is a suburb located in north Marin County, with a population of approximately 53,000. We are a close-knit community, with a number of our population being lifelong citizens. Many of our NUSD parents attended Novato schools themselves. Our community is known for its more than 3,600 acres of open space, which include a number of popular hiking and biking trails. Novato Unified's mission is to engage, inspire and empower all students, in a rapidly changing world, to realize their life goals.
