Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Renewable Energy Specialist to join our team as a Solar Field Technician. This role will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of utility-scale PV power plants.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain SCADA systems for optimal plant performance
- Perform routine maintenance on AC and DC solar PV systems, including inverters, transformers, and switchgear
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues with medium and high voltage equipment
- Collaborate with remote operators to ensure seamless communication
Requirements
- 1-4 years of experience in a related position or journeyman certification
- Demonstrated knowledge of electrical safety and arc flash standards
- Proficiency in reading and understanding electrical schematics and prints
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and work at heights
