As the Supervisor, Record Issuance & Document Management, you will lead critical documentation and label issuance operations that directly support manufacturing excellence. You’ll empower a high-performing team, drive operational efficiency, and foster a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement across the production environment. Job Description Key Responsibilities Lead record issuance and document management operations to ensure accuracy, compliance, and on-time execution. Coach and develop team members through daily floor presence, feedback, and performance support. Plan staffing and shift coverage to meet operational needs and maintain schedule adherence. Coordinate and improve batch record review with manufacturing, quality, and operational excellence partners. Maintain audit readiness through strong documentation practices, housekeeping, and inspection preparedness. Drive timely resolution of quality events, deviations, and corrective actions to strengthen compliance. Track performance metrics and lead continuous improvement to enhance safety, quality, and productivity. Essential Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in biotechnology, biopharmaceuticals, pharmaceutical technology, chemistry, microbiology, pharmacy, or other life science-related scientific degree. 3 years cGMP manufacturing. Strong understanding of quality systems, regulatory expectations, and documentation compliance. Proven process understanding – pharmaceuticals, GMP, regulatory compliance Desirable Requirements One year or more of team lead or supervisor experience is preferred. The salary for this position is expected to range between $85,400 and $158,600 per year. The final salary offered is determined based on factors like, but not limited to, relevant skills and experience, and upon joining Novartis will be reviewed periodically. Novartis may change the published salary range based on company and market factors. Your compensation will include a performance-based cash incentive and, depending on the level of the role, eligibility to be considered for annual equity awards.
