Director of Credentialing

Novaris Search is currently partnered with a growing Ophthalmology group seeking an experienced professional to lead as Director of Credentialing. You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, efficiency and compliance of payor enrollment and credentialing.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and optimize the utilization of credentialing software platforms, ensuring they operate efficiently and adhere to compliance standards.
• Supervise the entire credentialing and re-credentialing processes from start to finish.
• Assume ownership for resolving escalated issues with payers and regulatory bodies.
• Track credentialing timelines, relevant performance KPIs, and develop process improvement models.
• Deliver impactful leadership by guiding, coaching, assessing, and mentoring staff to identify and implement enhancement opportunities.
• Efficiently manage and establish goals with a focus on optimizing resources.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree (preferred).
• Minimum 5 years credentialing experience.
• Proficient in credentialing software (E.g Modio, Medallion, OneApp).
• Knowledge of enrollment in healthcare.
