What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Credentialing position at Novaris Search?
Novaris Search is currently partnered with a growing Ophthalmology group seeking an experienced professional to lead as Director of Credentialing. You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, efficiency and compliance of payor enrollment and credentialing.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and optimize the utilization of credentialing software platforms, ensuring they operate efficiently and adhere to compliance standards.
- Supervise the entire credentialing and re-credentialing processes from start to finish.
- Assume ownership for resolving escalated issues with payers and regulatory bodies.
- Track credentialing timelines, relevant performance KPIs, and develop process improvement models.
- Deliver impactful leadership by guiding, coaching, assessing, and mentoring staff to identify and implement enhancement opportunities.
- Efficiently manage and establish goals with a focus on optimizing resources.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree (preferred).
- Minimum 5 years credentialing experience.
- Proficient in credentialing software (E.g Modio, Medallion, OneApp).
- Knowledge of enrollment in healthcare.
