Position: Area Manager
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Area Manager to oversee operations across Missouri, Southern Illinois, Northern Arkansas, Eastern Kansas, and Oklahoma. This leadership role is ideal for someone with deep technical knowledge of water treatment programmes and a proven ability to drive growth through strategic account management and team development.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and Support Teams: Provide guidance and performance oversight for Account Managers, technical service representatives, and business development professionals within the territory.
- Technical Expertise: Interpret water chemistry data and translate findings into actionable strategies that meet contractual and regulatory requirements.
- Sales Growth: Accelerate business development initiatives, identify new opportunities, and expand wallet share with existing clients.
- Safety Leadership: Champion a culture of safety in all activities, communications, and reporting.
- Client Engagement: Conduct site surveys, assist with technical reviews, and support proposal development to ensure tailored solutions for customers.
- Programme Optimisation: Set control ranges, KPIs, and troubleshoot system issues to maintain peak performance of water treatment programmes.
- Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, programming, and sales teams to customise applications and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
- Strategic Reviews: Perform annual business reviews for key accounts and identify opportunities for growth and added value.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in industrial water treatment, including programme design and technical troubleshooting.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop multi-disciplinary teams.
- Proven track record in driving sales growth and building long-term client relationships.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory compliance requirements.
