Overview
Novant Health is seeking a highly motivated and experienced senior analyst to join the marketing team. As part of the Marketing Team, you will play a critical role in driving customer centricity and ensuring the success and relevance of our marketing and CRM activities. Through rigorous analyses, creative thinking, and deep partnership with the business, you will help support the development of powerful insights that will fuel strategic growth and ensure that the consumer is front in center in decision making across our marketing investments and decisions.
This person will help support our remarkable patient experience by identifying data points to increase personalization and automation through database analysis, optimizing our segmentation strategy, maintaining database cleanliness, maintaining taxonomy, and partnering with our IT team, web team and agency partners on data governance. The ideal candidate will have the ability to assess relatively complex situations and analyze and interpret data and recommend solutions in a creative and logical manner. They will have a natural curiosity: always asking the next question and seeking to understand at the nuanced level to spark creative solutioning. They will be a self-starter, highly organized and acts with a sense of urgency to meet objectives and deliver on time.

Qualifications
- Education: Degree in quantitative, analytics, or similar required.
- Experience: Minimum 3-4 years of experience within business/marketing analyst required. Prior experience in consumer centric organization preferred. Experience with web & mobile tagging required. Experience with data visualization tools required. Python experience preferred.
- Licensure/Certification: Salesforce, Marketing Cloud, Marketo, Power BI, Proficiency with SQL and Google Analytics required.
- Additional Skills/Requirements required:
- Communicate effectively with business partners translating complex ideas into compelling, actionable recommendations.
- Brings data-driven approaches to decision making, both in day-to-day activities and when helping others make strategic trade-offs.
- Proven experience applying foundational statistical concepts, statistical software experience strongly preferred (e.g. SPSS, SAS, JMP, SQL).
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint proficiency required (PivotTable, VLOOKUP, writing formulas).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, gained within a customer focused environment.
- Confident with systems, data, and analysis, and able to identify trends to take advantage of opportunities to drive continual improvement.
- Experience and working knowledge of CRM platforms (preferably Salesforce) and digital analytic tools, Google Analytics, Tag Manager.
- Self-motivated, innovative, shows initiative, creative in overcoming obstacles, can-do spirit, results focused.
