Senior Microsoft SQL Developer (Hybrid – Local Candidates Only)
Position Summary
Seeking an experienced Senior Microsoft SQL Developer to support the modernization of a high-availability enterprise SQL Server platform using microservices and Azure technologies. The role involves SQL development, performance tuning, database modernization, ETL development, and collaboration with Agile development teams.
Required Skills
- 10 years of overall IT experience.
- 7 years of SQL Server development in enterprise environments.
- Strong expertise in T-SQL, query optimization, and performance tuning.
- Experience with SQL Server on Azure Virtual Machines (IaaS).
- Hands-on experience with Always On Availability Groups.
- Experience modernizing legacy SQL databases and schemas.
- Experience working with .NET Core/C# development teams.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub CI/CD pipelines, and Agile/Scrum.
- Experience with cloud-hosted SQL environments.
Preferred Skills
- SSIS and Databricks for ETL development.
- PCI compliance and database security.
- Terraform or Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Microservices architecture and Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
- High-transaction SQL environment optimization.
