What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Associates position at Novalash?
The successful New Business Development & Customer Service Representative will actively seek out and engage customer prospects and educate lash artists in the industry to help them experience the NovaLash Difference. The NBD Rep will work to provide thorough and technical solutions for existing and potential NovaLash customers in an effort to boost top-line revenue growth, NovaLash market share, and profitability.
Responsibilities:
- Present, promote, and sell products/services to existing and prospective customers
- Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs
- Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships
- Reach out to customer leads through cold calling
- Business Development efforts and outreach will be 80% of the successful NBD Rep’s time
- Assist the support group in providing resolution of customer problems and complaints
- Achieve agreed-upon sales targets and outcomes
- Coordinate sales efforts with team members and other departments
- Analyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales, and provide status reports as needed
- Provide management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services
- Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends
- Continuously improve through feedback
- Promote teamwork and positivity internally and externally
- Present yourself in a professional and ethical manner in person and across social media platforms
- Utilize social media to reach existing customers and potential customers
- Utilize social media to interact with and support NovaLash Official and NovaLash artists
- Promote an inclusive culture of mutual respect with a focus on growth and the success of the NovaLash brand
- Study and rely on training and educational materials to ensure the information provided to customers is accurate and complete
- Any and all other tasks as assigned by your supervisor
Skills:
- Proven ability to educate individuals on differentiators and the ability to see the value of products
- Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management practices, along with the ability to build productive professional relationships
- Highly motivated and target-driven with a proven track record in sales
- Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills
- Prioritizing, time management, and organizational skills
- Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience's needs
- Proficiency in computer skills, such as Microsoft Office and video conferencing platforms are required
