Role Description
We are seeking a Laboratory Technician to join our team in Wayne, NJ. This role is responsible for performing diagnostic testing, maintaining lab equipment, and ensuring compliance with all quality and regulatory standards.
You will play a key role in delivering accurate, timely results that directly impact patient care.
Responsibilities
- Perform and process clinical laboratory tests and procedures
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment
- Follow strict quality control and compliance protocols (CLIA/COLA)
- Accurately document and analyze test results
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient lab environment
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely diagnostics
- Adhere to all safety and regulatory guidelines
Qualifications
- Experience working in a clinical or diagnostic laboratory
- Strong understanding of laboratory procedures and quality control standards
- Ability to accurately interpret and document results
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong communication skills
Preferred:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Laboratory Science, Biology, or related field
- Certification (ASCP or equivalent)
- Experience in clinical diagnostics, functional medicine, or specialty lab testing
