Job Overview
We are looking for a reliable, team-oriented individual to join our clinic as a receptionist/assistant/kennel attendant as needed.
Responsibilities
- Greet clients warmly and handle check-in/check-out procedures efficiently, ensuring a smooth flow of appointments and visits
- Manage appointment scheduling, cancellations, and follow-up reminders using our practice management software
- Collect and process payments for services rendered, including medical collections when applicable
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Assist veterinary staff with kennel duties such as feeding, cleaning, and monitoring hospitalized animals to ensure their comfort and safety
- Helping to maintain clinic cleanliness.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in veterinary reception or customer service within an animal care setting is preferred but will train as necessary.
- Strong communication skills with a positive attitude; capable of explaining complex information clearly to clients
- Basic computer skills, will train as necessary.
- Dependable and punctual; strong teamwork skills
- Willing to work weekends
