What You’ll Do
- Greet patients warmly and ensure a smooth check-in/check-out experience
- Present treatment plans clearly and confidently, answering patient questions and helping them understand their options
- Review financial estimates, insurance coverage, and payment options with patients
- Supervise, mentor, and train front desk staff (Front desk, Patient Advocate, Treatment Coordinators)
- Schedule and confirm appointments to ensure efficient use of the doctor’s time
- Maintain and update patient records accurately
- Collaborate closely with clinical and administrative teams to ensure seamless patient care
- Follow up with patients who have pending treatment to encourage completion of care
- Handle phone calls, emails, and other communications in a professional, compassionate manner
- Maintain confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations
✅ What We’re Looking For
- Experience in dental treatment coordination or dental administration preferred
- Must be able to read xrays
- EFDA preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills — both in-person and over the phone
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Positive, proactive, and empathetic approach to patient care
- Quick learner with the ability to absorb dental terminology, procedures, and insurance details rapidly
- Comfort discussing financial information and payment options with professionalism and confidence
