The Role
We're seeking an Account Growth Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you'll be responsible for managing and strengthening existing partnerships with existing and prospective dealers through a growth-oriented and relationship-based management strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Partnership Development: Cultivate and strengthen partnerships with existing and prospective dealers through a growth-oriented and relationship-based management strategy.
- Territory Growth: Identify opportunities for profitable growth within your assigned territory and develop strategies to achieve goals.
- Dealer Support: Work closely with internal teams to ensure dealers' needs are met at the operational level, including training and coaching sales team members.
- Communication: Employ a consultative approach with dealers regarding product usage, pricing, availability, and overall growth strategies.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field required or equivalent demonstrated knowledge, skills, and experience.
- Experience: Minimum of five years of industrial selling experience.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership skills to evaluate ongoing sales team performance and provide training and coaching when necessary.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal, non-verbal, and written communication skills.
- Customer Service: Strong customer service skills with proven experience in conflict resolution.
- Financial Acumen: Financial skills and business acumen to understand sales profitability and opportunities.
- Negotiation: Proven experience in negotiating outcomes that align with organizational strategies.
- Computer Skills: Strong computer skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Visual, and related software.
