Job Summary: Coordinate the transport of trailer shipments from manufacturing and shipping locations to dealers in the Novae LLC network including sourcing of vendors, agreement on vendor rates, and scheduling shipments.
Essential Functions:
- Screen and select vendors for the transport of trailers across the country. Onboard new vendors ensuring all necessary documents, insurances, and licensing is in place. Data enter vendor requirements into internal systems for tracking and payment processing.
- Serve as the main point of contact for vendors / drivers (included bumper pulls, wedge deliveries, dealer pick-ups, and semis) to provide load information, delivery requirements, rate confirmations, and to trouble shoot any problems that arise.
- Communicate delivery information to dealers. Monitor loads in transit in order to provide proactive updates to dealers and resolve delays.
- Regularly communicate to internal departments, typically sales, shipping, and production, for coordination of load setting and dealer needs.
- Update internal shipments calendar frequently for communication to broader groups of confirmed shipments, shipment moves or delays, and to confirm readiness of trailer loads.
- Drive Hot List meetings that are held three times weekly with Plant Managers for the targeted communications and confirmations shipment needs, identifying the urgent and time pressed shipments. Print Hot Lists daily. Review through the shipment needs and confirmations with Plant Managers to ensure vendors are identified and ready to meet commitment dates.
- Support the Department of Transportation compliance by coordinating with our outsourced vendor, as needed.

Qualifications and Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED or equivalent demonstrated knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- Experience in shipping and logistics preferred.
- Experience with customer facing positions preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven ability to collaborate with a team.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
