Buyer / Purchasing Specialist (Manufacturing)

We’re hiring a hands-on Buyer to support day-to-day purchasing for a fast-paced manufacturing operation. This role focuses on purchase orders, supplier coordination, inventory support, and ERP accuracy. If you like being in the system, keeping materials flowing, and supporting production, this role is for you.

What You’ll Do

• Create and manage purchase orders for raw materials, components, and indirect supplies
• Track order confirmations, delivery dates, and lead times
• Follow up with suppliers to resolve delays, shortages, or issues
• Maintain accurate purchasing, pricing, and vendor data in the ERP/MRP system
• Partner with production, planning, warehouse, and finance teams
• Monitor inventory levels to prevent stockouts or overstock
• Support cycle counts, inventory reviews, and material reconciliations
• Help resolve invoice discrepancies and pricing variances
• Ensure purchasing activities follow company policies and quality standards
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• 2–3 years of purchasing or supply chain experience in manufacturing
• Experience working in an ERP/MRP system (Epicor, SAP, Oracle, etc.)
• Inventory control experience (Syteline preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through
• Solid Excel skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, production-driven environment
  
  

Education

Associate’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
