Position: Licensed Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant (LPTA)

Location: NovaCare Fort Washington, Maryland

Specialties: Orthopedics, Neurology, Concussion, and Oncology (ReVital)

Schedule: Full Time (40 hours)

Compensation: $30.00 - $40.00/ Hr.

NovaCare Rehabilitation in Fort Washington, MD is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our dynamic outpatient orthopedic team. We serve a diverse patient population across all age groups and abilities, with a strong reputation for delivering personalized, evidence-based care that helps individuals return to the activities they love.

Qualifications:

• Current Maryland PTA license 
• Passion for helping patients achieve their goals
• At least one year of licensed experience treating outpatient orthopedics

Responsibilities

• Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
• Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
• Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.

Qualifications

• College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program
• Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
• Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)
• CPR certification
