NovaCare Rehabilitation is seeking an engaging and enthusiastic Part-time Injury Prevention Specialist to join our team supporting Life Fitness on-site in Owatonna, MN. This is a great opportunity for an athletic trainer, exercise physiologist, EMT, or individual of a similar background. Position: Injury Prevention Specialist
Location: 2104 Northdale Blvd Suite 100 Coon Rapids MN 55433 (on-site in Owatonna, MN)
Type of Employment: Part-time
Schedule: Weekdays, 10-15 hours per week, 2-3 mornings per week
Compensation: $40.00 - $50.00, hourly based on years of experience

What will you be doing in this role?
- Perform ergonomic assessments and provide recommendations for improvement
- Develop and deliver employee education and perform audits
- Conduct movement assessments and develop preventative exercise programs
- Engage with new hire employees on education, ergonomics, and injury prevention
- Deliver return-to-work program for employees returning from injury
- Provide early symptom intervention (ESI) care for employees
- Provide health and wellness coaching on a wide range of topics
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree
- Minimum one year of experience
- CPR certification
- Strong knowledge of musculoskeletal injury assessment and prevention interventions
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in an industrial setting
