About Nova Testing: Nova Testing is a dedicated substance abuse testing and counseling office in Lake Orion, committed to helping individuals achieve and maintain sobriety through reliable, professional services. We are looking for a reliable, mature, and detail-oriented professional to manage our front office and support our testing procedures.
The Role We are seeking a highly reliable and mature Clinical Support Technician / Office Assistant to manage our crucial daily operations. This is a vital, hands-on role that requires exceptional punctuality and a professional demeanor, as you will be the primary point of contact for clients and responsible for sensitive testing procedures.
Mandatory Split-Shift Schedule:
- Weekdays (M-F): 6:30 AM – 10:00 AM AND 5:00 PM – 7:30 PM
- Weekends (Sat & Sun): 7:00 AM – 10:30 AM
- Note: Overtime is paid for holidays.
Key Responsibilities
- Office & Administrative Support: Complete general office duties, including scheduling, filing, receipting payments, balancing the cash drawer, and managing client intake forms.
- Specimen Collection & Data Entry: Communicate testing procedures to program participants, complete necessary paperwork, and administer drug tests according to established protocol.
- Record Management: Assure that client records are protected against loss and unauthorized disclosure. Enter data into client files in a timely and accurate manner.
- Office Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and supply levels in the office work area.
- Quality Control: Review client charts for accuracy and keep master forms organized and stocked.
Qualifications
- Attitude & Reliability: Must possess a mature attitude and a proven track record of dependability and punctuality.
- Technical Skills: Good computer skills are necessary (essential for scheduling and data entry).
- Physical Requirements: Transportation to the office is a must. Living in the immediate vicinity of Lake Orion is a plus.
- Legal: Must be able to pass a comprehensive professional and criminal background check.
- Experience: No prior experience in substance abuse testing is required; full training will be provided.
