What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Technician position at Nova-Tech Inc?
Job Summary:
Successfully work within the Classified Areas and the Packaging and Labeling Rooms within a GMP aseptic fill manufacturing facility to manufacture sterile products.
Job Scope:
As a member of the Nova-Tech Production Team, the employee will assist with department objectives to manufacture sterile drug products and ensure Nova-Tech’s goals of a high-quality product with excellent customer care.
Responsibilities:
- Clean equipment after production run and prep equipment for next run
- Able to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) without alteration
- Process components of production – including stoppers, crimp seals, boxing, labeling, palletizing etc.
- Clean processing rooms after production run
- Machine set-up and teardown
- Aseptically work within the Classified Area
- Successful gowning requirements
- Troubleshoot machines and equipment
- Transfer of equipment in and out of Sterilizer
- Assist with Media Fills and Validations
- Other duties as assigned
Knowledge and Job Skills:
- Able to lift 30-50 lbs. repetitively
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
- Multi-tasking and shifting from one job to the next with confidence
- Exceptional attendance a must
- Mechanical aptitude and trouble shooting skills
- General knowledge of asepsis
- Certified in gowning
