KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Examine and diagnose diseases and injuries of pets, primarily dogs and cats
- Provide medical and surgical treatment as appropriate
- Collaborate within the veterinary care ecosystem and communicate with referring veterinarians
- Participate in ongoing education, seminars, and training to stay current in the field
- Partner with operational and hospital leadership to maintain high care standards and strong patient outcomes
- Administer core vaccinations and counsel clients on well-pet care
- Perform dental procedures
- Help create a positive environment for staff, clients, and pets
- Manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and perform well in a fast-paced environment
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent from an accredited institution
- Eligible to obtain Connecticut State Veterinary License
- 2 years of veterinary hospital experience preferred, though strong new graduates will be considered
- Internship training preferred but not required
- Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and collaborative approach to care
