Role Description This full-time Physical Therapist role is an on-site position based in Los Angeles, CA, serving patients in an outpatient orthopedic and neuromuscular setting. The Physical Therapist will evaluate patients using evidence-based examination techniques, establish objective, measurable treatment goals, and develop individualized plans of care. Daily responsibilities include delivering manual therapy and therapeutic exercise, providing patient education on condition management and home exercise programs, and progressing treatment based on clinical response and functional outcomes. The role involves maintaining accurate, defensible documentation, preparing timely progress reports, and communicating regularly with referring providers, case managers, and other stakeholders. The Physical Therapist will collaborate with clinic staff to support efficient scheduling, continuity of care, and a professional, patient-centered environment.
Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted Physical Therapist license in California (or eligibility to obtain before start date); graduation from an accredited DPT or PT program.
- Strong clinical skills in orthopedic and neuromuscular rehabilitation, including evaluation, manual therapy, therapeutic exercise prescription, and functional movement training.
- Experience or strong interest in treating post-surgical rehab, spine conditions, work and motor vehicle injuries, vestibular/balance disorders, postural dysfunction, scoliosis, and/or pelvic floor strengthening.
- Ability to produce clear, accurate, and defensible documentation that supports medical necessity, measurable goals, and case integrity.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills to educate patients, coordinate with physicians, attorneys, and case managers, and promote adherence and attendance.
- Strong time-management and organizational abilities to manage a dynamic outpatient caseload while maintaining quality and regulatory compliance.
- Commitment to evidence-based practice, professional ethics, and ongoing continuing education; experience with outcome measures and objective progress tracking preferred.
- Comfort working with diverse patient populations and maintaining a respectful, inclusive, and non-discriminatory care environment.
- CPR/BLS certification required;
