Duties
- Supervise and lead a team of landscaping professionals in various tasks including landscape maintenance, lawn care, and groundskeeping.
- Plan and execute landscaping projects, ensuring adherence to design specifications and timelines.
- Oversee the irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants and lawns.
- Train team members on best practices in landscaping techniques, safety protocols, and equipment usage.
- Conduct regular inspections of work sites to ensure quality standards are met.
- Manage the maintenance of tools and equipment used in landscaping tasks.
- Build relationships with clients by providing excellent service and addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in landscaping or groundskeeping with a focus on leadership roles.
- Strong knowledge of garden care, tree care, landscape maintenance, and lawn care practices.
- Ability to supervise effectively while fostering a positive team environment.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with both team members and clients.
- Familiarity with irrigation systems and their maintenance is preferred.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions.
- A valid driver’s license is required for transportation to job sites.
