Service area: Centreville, Chantilly, Fairfax, Manassas, and surrounding Northern Virginia communities

Nova Maids is a growing residential cleaning company looking for dependable cleaners who take pride in doing quality work. We want to build a company that keeps customers happy while treating its cleaners fairly, communicating clearly, and respecting their availability.

This position is ideal for an experienced cleaner who wants additional work, has existing clients or another part-time job, or prefers a flexible weekday schedule. Initial hours may be limited while we build our recurring customer base, but our goal is to provide steady weekly and biweekly appointments.

All working time is tracked for minimum-wage and overtime compliance.

Responsibilities

• Perform standard residential cleaning in customers’ homes
• Complete occasional deep cleans and move-in/move-out cleans
• Clean kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, floors, and common areas
• Dust, vacuum, mop, scrub, and wipe household surfaces
• Follow Nova Maids cleaning checklists and quality standards
• Take before-and-after or quality-control photos when required
• Communicate promptly about delays, damages, access problems, or unusual conditions
• Treat customers, homes, belongings, pets, and coworkers professionally

Requirements

• Reliable personal vehicle, valid driver’s license, and automobile insurance
• Ability to travel throughout the Northern Virginia service area, typically up to approximately 20–25 miles
• Ability to carry cleaning supplies and equipment between jobs
• Dependable attendance and prompt communication
• Ability to commit consistently to accepted weekly or biweekly appointments
• Smartphone for scheduling, communication, and required photos
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, reach, scrub, and carry cleaning equipment
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Comfortable completing W-2 payroll onboarding and a background check

Professional residential cleaning experience is preferred. Experience in hotel, commercial, restaurant, or other detail-oriented cleaning environments may also be considered.

Public transportation alone generally will not work for this position because customer homes are spread throughout the Northern Virginia suburbs and cleaners may need to travel between appointments with equipment.

Qualified applicants will be invited to a short phone interview, followed by an in-person meeting and paid trial cleaning.

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
