Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in various settings, including assisted living facilities, group homes, and private residences. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our clients through attentive care and companionship. This role requires a blend of personal care skills, patience, and the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide personal care and support for individuals with varying needs, including those with Alzheimer’s, dementia, and developmental disabilities.
- Monitor and document vital signs and changes in patients’ conditions.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning according to dietary needs.
- Administer medications as prescribed and ensure adherence to care plans.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping duties including cleaning and laundry.
- Engage clients in social activities to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the overall quality of life for clients.
- Utilize equipment such as Hoyer lifts for safe patient transfers when necessary.
- Follow HIPAA regulations to maintain client confidentiality at all times.
Experience
- Previous experience in caregiving or related fields such as home health, hospice care, or long-term care is preferred.
- Familiarity with patient observation techniques and monitoring is essential.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is highly valued.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is advantageous.
- Knowledge of meal preparation, cleaning protocols, and medication administration is beneficial.

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
