Duties
- Provide personal care services including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Assist clients with mobility and heavy lifting as needed.
- Monitor patient health and report any changes in condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for clients.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for patients.
- Support individuals with disabilities by providing direct support tailored to their needs.
- Administer CPR and first aid when necessary, ensuring the safety of clients at all times.
- Document care provided and maintain accurate records as required.
Experience
- Previous experience in caregiving or nursing is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with dementia care techniques is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist clients with physical tasks.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities is highly valued.
- Knowledge of patient monitoring practices is beneficial.
- Certification in CPR or willingness to obtain certification is required.
