Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Attorney position based in Natick, Massachusetts or New Jersey. The Attorney will be responsible for providing legal counsel, representing clients in immigration matters, conducting legal research, drafting motions and other legal documents, and managing complex casework. Daily responsibilities will also include preparing filings, communicating with clients, and advocating before immigration agencies and courts as needed.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, client-focused, and capable of working collaboratively in a fast-paced legal environment. Candidates must be licensed and in good standing in at least one of the following states: Massachusetts, New Jersey, or New York. Experience in immigration law is strongly preferred. Fluency in Spanish is a plus. The position requires in-person attendance at the office five days per week.
Qualifications
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree or LLM and active bar membership in good standing in Massachusetts, New Jersey, or New York;
• Strong knowledge of immigration law and family law procedures preferred;
• Experience providing strategic legal guidance and developing client-centered solutions;
• Strong legal research, analytical, and problem-solving skills;
• Experience drafting motions, legal briefs, and other immigration-related filings;
• Excellent negotiation, advocacy, and dispute resolution abilities;
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills;
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, in-person office environment in Natick, MA;
• Spanish fluency is a plus;
• Prior immigration law experience is highly preferred.
Compensation
Initial salary range for this position is expected to be between $80,000 – $100,000 annually, depending on experience, qualifications, bar admissions, and prior immigration law experience. Additional performance-based compensation opportunities may be available.
