Nova IVF, an Ivy Fertility Clinic located in Mountain View, California, is seeking a full time, detail-oriented, Embryology Lab Assistant to support the daily operations of the embryology laboratory. Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and laboratory staff
- Assist embryologists with laboratory setup and quality control procedures
- Coordinate and schedule laboratory procedures with clinical staff
- Verify and manage specimen shipments into and out of the clinic
- Maintain accurate specimen tracking records
- Track inventory and manage laboratory supplies and media
- Coordinate routine laboratory maintenance
- Prepare, organize, scan, and file laboratory documentation
- Utilize Excel for data entry, laboratory tracking, and KPI reporting
- Other duties as assigned
This role requires the ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in chemical, physical, or biological sciences
- Minimum of 2 years of laboratory experience
- Work Authorization
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced setting
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer skills
Compensation:
- Starting salary: $75,000 annually (depending on experience)
