Day-to-day work includes analyzing complex SAP landscapes, implementing and customizing SAP modules, building robust integrations and back-end services, and reviewing technical specifications to ensure high-quality, scalable solutions. The Senior SAP Engineer will troubleshoot and resolve issues across the SAP lifecycle, contribute to architectural decisions, and guide best practices for performance, security, and maintainability. In addition, this role mentors other engineers, partners with enterprise customers to understand their requirements, and helps shape Nova’s agentic AI capabilities for SAP environments.

Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and software architecture principles.
- Hands-on experience in Software Development and Programming, with proficiency in at least one modern language commonly used in SAP-related development (e.g., ABAP, Java, Python, or JavaScript).
- Proven expertise in Back-End Web Development, building APIs, services, and integrations that connect SAP systems with other enterprise applications.
- Advanced skills in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), including designing modular, reusable, and maintainable components for complex systems.
- Extensive experience with SAP platforms and modules (e.g., S/4HANA, ECC, SAP BTP, SAP Fiori), including configuration, customization, and performance tuning.
- Experience working in enterprise environments, collaborating with cross-functional teams such as operations, DevOps, and business stakeholders.
