Responsibilities
- Perform thorough residential cleanings—dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitization—upholding Nova’s premium cleanliness standards
- Handle laundry tasks (washing, drying, folding, organizing) with care and efficiency
- Care for floors using specialized techniques including carpet cleaning, floor polishing, and stain removal
- Maintain sanitation protocols by disinfecting bathrooms, kitchens, and high-touch surfaces
- Deliver excellent customer service by listening to client needs, communicating professionally, and ensuring complete satisfaction
- Manage janitorial tasks: trash removal, supply replenishment, equipment organization, and proper use of Nova-provided tools
- Support Nova’s Event Assistance service when needed (serving, tidying, restocking, basic cleanup)
- Optional: Assist with light cooking or meal prep if requested by clients
- Follow all Nova safety procedures when handling cleaning chemicals and equipment
Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning; janitorial or custodial background a strong plus
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques (deep cleaning, floor care, sanitation practices)
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to follow Nova’s cleaning checklists
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Ability to manage laundry tasks efficiently
- Familiarity with hotel-level housekeeping or hospitality work is a plus
- Able to safely operate vacuums, steam cleaners, carpet extractors, and similar equipment
- Basic meal-prep capabilities are a bonus
- Reliable transportation to and from client locations
- Strong work ethic, proactive mindset, and time-management skills
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
