What are the responsibilities and job description for the Seasonal Cultivator position at Nova Farms?
We're looking to add 25-30 seasonal Farm Hands to help us with our Cannabis Harvest starting in late September/early October and ending in early-mid November.
Where: 136 Kellogg Road, Sheffield, MA
Position Title: Seasonal Cultivator
Daily Schedule: Monday through Saturday, 8am – 5pm
Hours/Week: 20 – 40 Hours per week
Hourly Rate: $20.00 Per Hour
Position Summary: The Seasonal Cultivator position will work as part of a team at our outdoor facility and will report to the Cultivation Manager. This role is responsible for the physical harvest and associated plant transfer, trimming, quality control, and packaging.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Hand-harvest and gather plants
- Individual leaf-harvesting of plants
- Follow the instructions of the Cultivation Manager and leads.
Requirements:
- Must be able to work for long hours outdoors, working on your feet and bending over with minimal supervision.
- Candidates should be motivated and hardworking, attendance is critical.
- These roles responsibilities will shift between Farm Hand, Trimmer and Laborer work.
- Must be a team player.
- Must be 21 years or older
