Position Overview:
Kitchen Associates are tasked with product processing, ingredient mixing, kitchen prep, cleaning and stocking.
Responsibilities:
- Cleaning and sterilizing the kitchen and supplies
- Prepping kitchen equipment for processing
- Assisting in kitchen clean-up
- Prepping, sugar coating, and quality-checking edible products
- Product packaging & general production support
- Processing products
- Labeling products
- Packaging orders for shipment or storage
- Willing to work in different temperatures due to the kitchen being temperature-controlled
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Must be 21 years or older (Industry Regulation)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs., stand and bend for long periods of time.
- Must exhibit good personal hygiene and follow the health guidelines set forth by the company and the state while processing cannabis products
- Must be able and willing to work overtime
- Ambitious team player, eager to learn and grow in the cannabis industry
Working Conditions:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to perform grasping, talking, hearing, seeing, and repetitive motions
Physical Demands:
May be required to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift, carry and balance up to 50 pounds (200 pounds with assistance)
