Job Overview: The Retail Keyholder is responsible for assisting with the retail operations of the dispensary, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and operational guidelines. You will collaborate with other Keyholders, Supervisors, General Managers, and the Store P Manager to maintain a safe and efficient environment. This role includes all opening and closing duties, as well as managing day-to-day floor operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and motivate retail employees to provide exceptional customer service and achieve sales goals.
• Act as a liaison for employee development, assessing staff performance, addressing potential issues, and communicating feedback to management to ensure productivity.
• Inspire staff to consistently deliver the best possible service to our guests.
• Oversee shift efficiency by managing staff breaks, scheduling, delegating side work, and assigning closing tasks.
• Perform daily activities including training staff and handling customer complaints.
• Provide customers with detailed information and guidance on product selection and usage.
• Maintain extensive knowledge of the strains we carry, including their effects, contraindications, and customer education.
• Perform daily customer check-out and floor greeting.
• Efficiently fulfill customer orders, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
• Monitor sales by retail agents for accurate weights and proper product handling.
• Open and close the dispensary according to Company Procedures.
• Secure cash drawers, the safe, product storage, and facility doors.
• Monitor guest intake, verify guest IDs, and ensure all entering guests meet security requirements when applicable.
• Monitor cash flow, perform cash drops, close drawers, void transactions, process returns, and apply employee discounts.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal inspection, billing, and licensing requirements.
• Adhere strictly to all internal policies and procedures, compliance standards, inventory standard operating procedures (SOPs), receiving standards, and operational safety and security protocols.
• Receive, handle, store, and track all cannabis products in strict compliance with Cannabis Control Commission regulations.
• Ensure the integrity and quality of products through careful handling and proper storage conditions.
• Perform maintenance as needed.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 1-2 years of retail supervisor or management experience.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

• Passionate about providing exceptional customer service.

• Reliable with a strong work ethic and a commitment to punctuality.

• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced and changing environment.

• Comfortable using point-of-sale systems and other retail technologies. Basic knowledge of cannabis and cannabis products.

• Previous experience in a customer-facing role.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Physical Requirements:

• Mobility: Ability to stand, walk, and move around the store for extended periods.

• Lifting: Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.

• Manual Dexterity: Ability to handle, package, and label products with precision.
