You will be part of the Go-To-Market team, playing an essential role in engaging and educating our prospects through the sales process. You will serve as a consultative product expert who helps potential clients unlock business value by engaging senior stakeholders on credit policy, product usage, and performance analyses. Internally, you will be well-connected, working cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Data Science. You will engage with our worldwide target audience in the US, Canada, the UK, the UAE, and Singapore.

You should be experienced in financial services with both the credit risk modeling and credit policy landscapes. Ultimately, the Senior Manager, Data Science Consulting will ensure that Nova Credit’s prospect base fully understands our product offerings and how best to incorporate them within their existing strategies.

This is a full-time, NYC-preferred position. Travel to Nova Credit offices (New York and San Francisco), prospect sites, and conferences required up to 25% of time. Work hours flexibility is necessary, given the global scope of this role.

NYC-based candidates will be required to be in our Flatiron office (3 days per week on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays).

WITHIN THE FIRST MONTH, YOU'LL

  • Establish a deep understanding of Nova Credit’s products, strategies, and data
  • Partner with the Sales team to understand our prospect engagement models
  • Shadow your first external meetings

WITHIN THE FIRST QUARTER, YOU'LL

  • Partner with Account Executives to own meetings, providing education and analyses to prospects
  • Collaborate and influence with prospect teams to shape their testing and KPIs, maximizing the value of our data in their lending and decision frameworks
  • Influence product strategy based on feedback from the market and your own experiences

WITHIN THE FIRST YEAR, YOU'LL

  • Scale the consulting function via the creation of processes and content
  • Shape the trajectory of Nova Credit by working cross-functionally with Sales and Data Science to prioritize road map activities
  • Drive revenue for Nova Credit and our customers by influencing stakeholder teams and policies

YOUR SKILLSET

  • 5 years of experience in financial services or credit with a focus on credit policy or data science
  • 2 years experience in externally-facing pre- or post-sales consulting roles
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using tools like SQL and Tableau for data visualization and insights
  • Deep knowledge of credit bureau data, ideally with alternative data experience
  • Relevant masters or MBA preferred
  • Intellectual curiosity, drive, flexibility, and coachability will be critical to adapt to prospect needs, business models, and sophistication levels spanning business sizes, verticals, and the globe

$163,200-$198,900 per year

The above compensation range is for US-based candidates and is dependent on individual experience, skills, education, location, and qualifications. We consider all elements of compensation to be a part of the value we provide to Novans. This may include base salary, equity grants, incentive compensation for eligible roles, professional development, flexible PTO, and tenure rewards.
