What are the responsibilities and job description for the Campground Maintenance Worker position at Nova Campground?
Nova Family Campground is looking for a candidate that has a love for the outdoors and enjoys learning about campground maintenance. This position requires you to work outdoors throughout the shift. We are looking for a candidate that is able to work 3-4 days a week, 8 hours a day. The goal of Nova Campground is to be a campers "home away from home". In order to provide this standard, we need a candidate that will help maintain our campground at the highest level and provide great customer service.
Job Responsibilities
- Mow, weed wack, leaf clean up
- Swimming pool - check chemicals, clean, brush
- Dispense propane
- Operating equipment - sewage auger, chain saw, saws, power tools, riding mower, backpack leaf blowers, tractor
- Minor plumbing repairs (pvc) and electrical repairs (breaker replacement)
- Clean and maintain campground facility areas (restrooms, showers, sweeping, mopping, dusting, cabins)
Skills
- Physical ability to lift, bend, walk
- Motivated to complete a task
- Willingness to learn how to operate equipment/tools and general maintenance repairs
- Knowledge of basic tools and functions
- Communication with management and team and work under direction
- Team player
