What are the responsibilities and job description for the Packager position at Nova Biomedical?
Nova Biomedical is hiring an Eastwood Consumable Assembler / Packager on the First Shift (6 : 30 A.M - 3 : 00 P.M.) in our Waltham, MA facility.
The primary job function is to perform the operations necessary to assemble, label, and package various consumable products.
Other responsibilities include :
- Ability to perform assembly and labeling processes for various consumable products
- Ability to work with various packaging equipment such as : automated / manual tape machines, auto bag machines, heat sealers and other packaging devices.
- Must be versatile and be able to work alternately in a seated or standing position
- Must be dependable, willing to learn, adaptable to change, and have a positive attitude
- Ability to understand assembly procedures, drawings, verbal instructions and related documentation to assemble, label, and package various products is required
- Basic understanding of GMP
- Read and write English
Education / Experience :
- High School Degree or GED Equivalent
- 1-3 years in a manufacturing environment
