ROLE OVERVIEW

The Courier reports to the Laboratory Manager and is responsible for interacting regularly with Nova Biologicals team and clients while performing daily pick-ups, deliveries, and assisting the Courier/Maintenance Technician when necessary.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Drive the company vehicle in a safe and responsible manner, ensuring the vehicle is well-maintained through regular inspections, including checking tire pressure, performing oil changes, and refilling gasoline as needed.
• Promptly report and document any safety incidents or issues to maintain a high standard of operational safety.
• Participate in daily pick-ups and deliveries of samples and supplies, ensure accurate travel assignment documentation, load and unload cargo, and meet strict deadlines.
• Understand the sample flow from Client to testing to results.
• Assist Quarterly in Colilert-18 sample receipt minimum of two Saturdays as required.
• Maintain safety and security procedures in compliance with company policies.
• Perform routine facility and equipment maintenance tasks as assigned

POSITION & SCHEDULE

This position is full-time, M-F (Occasional Saturdays) with flexible hours.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

The ideal candidate will be authorized to work in the United States, indefinitely, without restrictions or sponsorship, have a high school diploma or GED, and an ability to work independently and within a team. Other items include:

• Current and valid driver's license issued in the state of operation (Texas), including a clean driving record with no DUI or major moving violations/accidents required.
• Two years of professional driving experience and basic knowledge of concepts and practices of a testing laboratory preferred.
• Fundamental understanding of technology
• Ability to lift at least 40 lbs, drive for extended periods, stand for long hours, and perform physical tasks.
