How You Will Contribute
Under the direction of the Lab Supervisor, Microbiologists perform a variety of technical laboratory functions in the daily operation and maintenance of the laboratory. Essential duties are outlined below, with other responsibilities as necessary:
Perform USP testing, including USP in a cleanroom.Conduct molecular biology techniques (PCR, microbial ID analysis). Perform Environmental and Food testing as needed. Execute testing and QC procedures independently. Record and maintain laboratory data according to Nova Biologicals' policies and certification standards. Utilize LIMS for data management. Receive, label, and test USP, environmental, and food samples, ensuring proper handling and storage. Provide technical support for special projects. Assist in SOP revisions and updates; Participate in PT for environmental and food testing. Perform out-of-specification investigations and assist in laboratory investigations. Assist in training Laboratory Technicians and provide support to QC Scientists. Adhere to GMP/GLP, NELAP/TNI, and ISO 17025 standards. Perform general maintenance and ensure the laboratory's cleanliness. Handle and lift up to 50 lbs as required and perform other duties as assigned by management.

Full-Time | Regular schedule Wed - Sun - 10AM - 7PM, flex Sat/Sun , Training schedule M-F| OT Eligible

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will be authorized to work in the United States, indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship. Experience working in an Analytical or Production laboratory is a plus. Other qualifications include:

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Biology, or a related science discipline.
- Knowledge of aseptic techniques, microorganism isolation, cultivation, and characterization.
- Understanding of basic chemistry analysis and culture media preparation.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Possess attention to detail and insatiable curiosity
