Hybrid Entry Level Account Manager *Paid Training

Overview of the Position:

Nova 401(k) Associates is looking to fill Associate Account Manager positions. Associate Account Managers provide clients support on 401(k) issues over the phone. For example, Associate Account Managers may assist clients with census submission questions, submitting Form 5500, and other issues related to their 401(k) plan.

Associate Account Managers receive paid training. Nova supports Associate Account Managers obtaining industry credentials by paying for study time, exams, and professional membership fees. Excellent performers who obtain a QKA designation will be eligible to apply for other positions after 18 months. The Associate Account Manager will be required to work four days per week from our Houston, TX office. They can work one day per week from home. The position will start in January 2026.

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain a caseload of safe harbor clients
• Maintain client and advisor relationships with a high active client retention rate
• Manage and prioritize workload towards weekly goals in a results-oriented team environment
• Consult with clients regarding plan operation and design
• Work with other Nova departments, record-keepers, and advisors to ensure a great client experience
• Document all client interactions in our workflow management system
• Perform work according to Nova policies and procedures
• Complete assigned training
• Work towards obtaining an industry designation
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree
• Customer service experience a plus
• Excellent written communication skills and ability to compose a professional email
• Excellent verbal communication skills and knowledge of phone etiquette
• Excellent time management, organizational skills, and ability to multi-task
• Experience with Microsoft Office and comfortable using a computer
• Knowledge of VOIP phone systems a plus
• Help desk experience a plus

Salary and benefits:

• Base Salary $50,000 - $60,000
• Salaried, non-exempt position

Work Location/Hours:

• Must work in the Houston, TX office four days per week
• Can work from home one day per week
• Must be authorized to work for any US employer
• Must attend regular video meetings via Microsoft Teams or equivalent
• We will supply all necessary computer equipment
• Work hours: standard business hours; 40 hours per week
• You may choose a start time between 8:00 am and 9:00 am CST
