Fabrication Department
Overall Job summary:
Finish the edges of custom fabricated rugs
Detailed Job summary:
Add edge finishing to custom rug edges
Various options offered: Machine serging, Hand serging, Machine binding
Review each work order paying close attention to details for each order. Apply the appropriate edge finishing per the instructions on the work order.
Quality – Review / Inspect the quality of edge finish of each piece once completed. Have the Fabrication department manager to check the edge finish for any defects.
Equipment – Ensure that all equipment is used correctly and safely. Maintain all equipment as needed (binding machines, serging machines, scissors etc).
Minimum requirements: High School / GED. Computer Experience required.
Abilities required: Ability to use AS400, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Ability to lead by example.
