Do you love being a dietitian and guiding individuals along their journey of making peace with food? We are a dedicated group practice looking to add another dietitian to our team.
About us
Nourishment Works, PC is an established dietetic practice based in Chicago. We are experiencing a period of growth and require the assistance of another enthusiastic and self-motivated dietitian to provide non-diet nutritional counseling and facilitate groups. We are currently interviewing registered dietitians to join our team. Our values include body and size acceptance, holistic wellness, and compassionate support. Our team strives to cultivate lasting behavioral change. We’re based in Chicago’s North Center neighborhood, easily accessible by public transportation.
About You
- Experience in the non-diet approach to wellness and Health at Every Size® philosophy is a must
- Minimum of 1-2 years of eating disorder recovery counseling experience and/or training
- Promotion of health and healing aimed at strengthening and supporting clients and their families through the eating recovery process
- Conduct all phases of nutritional care, including assessment & monitoring
- Awesome organization and communication skills with an eye for fine detail
- Enthusiastic about growing a career in non-diet & eating recovery therapies
- You'll bring your expertise in nutrition counseling, research, social media management, customer service, and communication to this exciting role
Requirements, skills, and experience
- Registered Dietitian with current Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
- Current, active, unrestricted dietitian license (or provisional license) in the state of Illinois
- Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) or Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) preferred
- Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor preferred
- Work 2 weeknights (considered 4-8pm) or weekend day(s) (considered 6 hours)
- Part time employees are expected to hold at least 12 weekly client hours and full time employees must hold at least 25 weekly client hours
- Committed to weight neutrality work and practicing through a social justice/anti-diet lense
