Registered Dietitian Position Overview
Nourishing NY is looking for a part-time W2 employee Registered Dietitian to join the team. You will be joining Nourishing NY, Registered Dietitians who are passionate about helping clients heal their relationship with food and body.
We are a group private practice specializing in eating disorders and disordered eating. Job Responsibilities and Expectations
- Medical nutrition therapy for clients with eating disorders (children, adolescents, and adults). Candidates must be willing to collaborate with the client's care team including MDs, therapists, psychiatrists, and parents.
- All aspects of case management: conducting discovery calls, charting, scheduling follow-up appointments, referrals as needed.
- Applicants must be experienced in nutrition counseling and knowledgeable about eating disorders.
This position has a requirement of availability in the evenings from 4-7 pm EST, approximately. The ideal candidate should know that the amount of hours given in private practice depends on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the market, networking with referral sources, and client retention rates.
Job Requirements
- Registered Dietitian, credentialed with CDR
- Residence in the Tri-State Area
Preferred Expectations:
- At least 2 days with availability from 4-7 pm
- At least 2 days with morning/afternoon availability
