What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Dietitian position at Nourished with Kindness?
This position offers a starting hourly rate of $52-54 per hour as a W2 employee, with potential to earn $76,000 annually based on meeting caseload goals.
Nourished with Kindness is a group practice of Registered Dietitian Nutritionists licensed in California, Oregon, and Montana. Clients with PPO insurances who see us often have sessions 100% covered by insurance. We specialize in working with clients of all genders with eating disorders, binge eating, fertility/pregnancy, hormone issues/PCOS, GI issues, disordered eating, food allergies/intolerances, or vegetarian/vegan nutrition through an Intuitive Eating, weight-inclusive approach. We work with adolescents, teens, adults, and families to listen to their bodies, honor their cravings, use nutrition knowledge to fit their lifestyles and medical conditions, and actually enjoy eating again. We are committed to accessible, inclusive, and high-quality care for all clients and prioritize collaboration and communication with members of clients’ treatment teams and support systems.
Our growing practice is looking for a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) who is skilled in 1:1 counseling and has experience working with clients with eating disorders as well as medical nutrition therapy. This position is a W2 employee position, and while we have a large volume of client referrals to our practice, you should expect your hours to gradually build up to a full-time caseload as we provide you with new clients. On our side, we will do our best to get you built up to a full-time caseload as soon as possible. Clients may be seen at any time of day, but due to the high demand for sessions between 1pm-6pm, it is important to us that you are able to accommodate clients during these hours on a regular basis. We offer a hybrid work schedule whereby you’ll be able to see clients both virtually and in-office in either our Thousand Oaks or West Los Angeles (Sawtelle). We want you to be part of our collaborative culture and have availability for clients to be seen face-to-face, so we expect at least two of your days each week to be spent in-office. You are free to work remotely for the remainder of the week.
