How to Apply: Submit your resume through Indeed along with a brief statement describing your experience and why you are well‑suited for a multi‑business operational support role. Also, applicants must complete the three screening tasks below in order to be eligible for an onsite interview. Only candidates who complete the scavenger hunt will be invited to an interview. Please note, the following 'scavenger hunt' is not an attempt to get you to do free work for me. I can look up the answers myself. That's not the point. The most essential part of this job is being able to independently take instructions, follow them and be able to research information you may have no idea about. I would like to assign a task and know that you have the ability to do it without having to be told how. In order to find out which candidates have the skills to do what it takes, there is a 'scavenger hunt' to complete. If you can't follow instructions, pay attention to details and output the information in the correct format, then this job won't be a good fit for you. I end up needing lots of documents outputted as a PDF. I need to know that you can do it on your own. So, with all that being said:
1) Locate the official Sherman city department responsible for issuing commercial occupancy permits for businesses. Provide a) the exact department name, b) the correct phone number, c) the physical office address, d) the specific form name or code used for occupancy permits, and e) one sentence explanation of how you verified accuracy.
2) Identify two local print shops within 30 miles of Sherman, Texas that can produce laminated class rosters AND same-day badge printing. Provide a) Business names, b) Phone numbers, c) Hours of operation, d) a screenshot or written citation of where you found the information.
And 3) Research and summarize the three legally required components of a compliant FERPA-safe student record-keeping process for private educational programs. Provide a) the three components, b) the governing authority that defines them, c) a brief explanation of how these rules apply to maintaining class rosters, and d) one example of a violation and how to prevent it. Email the results of the scavenger hunt as a PDF file to drcarter@nourishedmedspa.com. Interviews will be scheduled only after successful completion of the tasks.
