Duties
- Safely operate vehicle to transport meals, and supplies between designated locations, ensuring punctuality and adherence to safety protocols
- Assist with food preparation, serving meals, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to support efficient food service operations
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting students and staff warmly, addressing their needs promptly, and ensuring a positive dining experience
- Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures, dietary guidelines, and sanitation standards
- Support catering or banquet events as needed, including setup, serving, and cleanup to ensure seamless event execution
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and inventory related to food service activities
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and school personnel to uphold health and safety regulations at all times
Requirements
- Prior experience in food service or hospitality environments such as restaurants, catering, or banquet settings is highly desirable
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating school or commercial vehicles preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and vendors
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to serve in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism
- Experience with food preparation or dietary aide duties is a plus
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including mornings, afternoons, or special event times as needed
