The Accounts Payable Clerk will perform accounting and clerical duties related to the efficient maintenance and processing of accounts payable transactions. The ideal candidate must have strong clerical/analytical skills, strong experience with Microsoft products including Outlook and Excel, excellent communication skills, and be able to work proactively and independently in a fast-paced office environment.

Duties And Responsibilities Of The Ap Coordinator
- Pays vendors by monitoring discount opportunities, verifying federal id numbers, scheduling, and preparing checks, and resolving purchase order, contract, invoice, or payment discrepancies and documentation.
- Assist in Vendor Statement reconciliation.
- Facilitates payment of vendors, which may include verification of federal ID numbers.
- Ensures outstanding obligations are credited upon payment, identifies discount opportunities.
- Other related duties as assigned by AP Supervisor
- Must be reliable and extremely trustworthy.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with PDI Enterprise a plus
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain confidential and meticulous records.
- High school diploma required; Business or Accounting degree preferred.
