What are the responsibilities and job description for the CDL A Truck Driver/Warehouse Associate position at Nots Logistics?
Job Description:
NOTS Logistics is looking for a combo CDL A driver that also helps with warehousing tasks at our Shippensburg, PA location. Up to 50% Weekly Drive Time.
Previous CDL-A driving experience is required (2 years)
- 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday - Friday, with some OT as needed.
- $25.00/hour
- Stage trailers to be loaded/off-loaded, filling orders, receiving and storing product in the warehouse. This will include actively spotting trailers, pulling orders and/or assisting loading personnel as deemed necessary.
- Manage warehouse/yard equipment and assets by assisting the Warehouse Supervisor in ensuring proper care of forklifts/spotter truck and maintenance is completed.
- Checks completed orders for accuracy and compliance with all relevant Standard Operating Procedures for NOTS Logistics and our customer.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Adheres to company policies and procedures. Reports any concerns.
- Perform Other Duties Assigned by Management.
Job Requirements:
- Class A CDL with 2 years of experience
- Basic knowledge of Department of Transportation (DOT) laws and mandates.
- Ability to pass DOT physical and road test
- Above-average driving record
- Responsible for compliance with company HR and safety policies/procedures.
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required.
