Job Description
Lead a historically successful Class D2 Softball program that plays in the highly competitive Genesee Region league. The Head Coach of the Notre Dame softball team would be responsible for all aspects of the program including, off-season conditioning, staff management, encouraging student participation, instituting a system that is taught through the program. In addition, oversight of the media and community relations would be the responsibility of the Head Coach.
General Requirements
- Have Varsity level coaching experience especially in a small school program is a plus, not a must.
- Experience coaching and/or playing softball is required.
- Must hold a current NYS teaching certificate or NYS Coaching Certificate or NYS Temporary Coaching license or be willing to pursue NYS Coaching Certificate.
- Current First Aid, CPR and AED certifications
- Additional Trainings such as Virtus.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Spring softball season starts March 8, 2027
- Additional requirements may apply as per State regulations and Notre Dame expectations.
